What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Association Manager position at Douglas Property Management?
Douglas Property Management is searching for a premier Community Association Portfolio Manager to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, display effective verbal and written communication skills, and understand Community Association industry standards and best practices.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow and maintain proper record keeping policies
- Serve as liaison between Association Boards and contractors/service providers
- Prepare meeting minutes for Board review and approval in accordance with Association policy
- Prepare Management Reports and Review Financial Reports for Boards monthly
- Respond to Board and Homeowner calls, emails, and requests in a timely manner
- Ensure that Dues Assessment Collection Policy adopted by the Board is followed
CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Document, submit and coordinate insurance claims on associations’ behalf
- Identify and record violations of association governing documents
- Perform regular site visits to maintain knowledge of the property and implementation of enforcement policies as directed by the Board monthly
- Develop and implement maintenance, repair and replacement programs approved by board for physical property of the Association
- Respond to maintenance requests from property owners
- Ensure maximum client satisfaction
- Serve as a community expert by exceeding customer expectations on a regular basis
- Manage the bidding process for property improvements and maintenance issues
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
