As a Veterinary Assistant, You Can Expect To…
- Work closely with our clients and their pets
- Assist veterinarians with physical examinations of pets
- Assist during surgical and dental procedures
- Assist technicians on day-to-day tasks
- Monitor vital signs of hospitalized pets
- Perform routine in-house laboratory work
In Order to Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need To…
- Be a self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team
- Possess excellent communication skills, both with coworkers and clients
- Be committed to delivering superior customer service to all patients and their people
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Consistently provide a clean and comfortable space for all patients
Important Job Requirements Include:
- Part-time or full-time hours
- Ability to work 9-10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday
- Weekend shifts
- 2 years of experience at a veterinary practice
