Job Posting Title:Administrative Assistant - Transition Bridge Program
Job Description:Provides administrative secretarial support for the principal; coordinates and supervises general business activities and personnel of the program. Assists with setting up meetings for Bridge staff and coordinating IEP meetings with high schools. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three (3) to five (5) years job related experience Experience in a special education environment preferred ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional lifting five (5) to ten (10) pounds Frequent sitting Occasional bending, squatting, or standing
Position Specific Information (if Applicable):
Responsibilities:
--- Maintain the principal's calendar, make appointments, schedule meetings and conferences.May assist in maintaining overall calendar of school and community events.
--- Maintain files on personnel, including evaluations, other confidential information including emergency contacts and crisis management process.
--- Liaison with district community relations - alerting the district to crisis situations, good news, student celebrations, etc.
--- May prepare and distribute a variety of regular and special reports for administration, the district and the state.
--- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
--- Draft and produce letters, memoranda, reports, special projects; such as newsletters, handbooks and other related materials and documents in an accurate and timely manner. Deal with matters of a highly confidential nature.
--- General budgetary responsibilities include:
- Monitor and maintain budget functions related to a number of accounts such as activity funds, general funds, grants and petty cash.
- Reconcile monthly budget accounts and prepare reports.
- Maintain school inventory.
--- Coordinate a variety of building and staff activities: beginning and end-of-year check-in, registration, parent information nights, building security measures, etc.
--- Continually look to improve administrative processes.
--- Maintain proficiency in Workday, Aesop, Infinite Campus, Kronos, Enrich and other related technologies.
--- Manage a variety of personnel functions, such as substitute teachers, staff leaves and leave records, pay sheets, and personnel hirings/terminations.

Education:High School or Equivalent (Required)

Minimum Hire Rate: $20.35 USD Hourly
Maximum Hire Rate: $26.92 USD Hourly
Full Salary Range:$20.35 USD - $33.48 USD Hourly
- All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
