Job Summary
Two part-time Direct Care Staff are needed to work with individuals with developmental disabilities in group homes located in Douglasville, GA. One position is part-time Monday - Friday. The other position is Saturday and Sundays. Duties include but not limited to:
Report any facility problems or health and safety issues observed, within 20 minutes of observation, to the home manager. Complete an Incident Reports for any unusual behaviors or injuries immediately to the supervisor, and turn in documentation within 24 hours. Attend outings to assist residents with safety issues, one time Saturday and one time Sunday. Make sure residents’ clothes are washed, dried and ironed on Saturdays. Change linens on a weekly basis for residents. Assist residents with bathing and other personal hygiene, such as shaving, shampooing hair, and brushing teeth. Attend all training as required.
