Boat Detailer

About the Role:

The Boat Detailer plays a critical role in ensuring that each vessel leaving the manufacturing facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness, appearance, and quality. This position involves meticulously cleaning, polishing, and preparing boats to enhance their aesthetic appeal and protect their surfaces from damage. The Boat Detailer works closely with the production and quality assurance teams to identify and address any cosmetic imperfections or issues. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in detailing, cleaning, or a related role, preferably with boats or vehicles.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or marine environment.
• Familiarity with different types of boat materials and finishes.
• Certification or training in boat detailing or surface care.
• Ability to operate power tools and polishing machines safely.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of boats, including washing, waxing, polishing, and interior cleaning.
• Inspect boats for cosmetic defects or damage and report findings to the production team for corrective action.
• Apply protective coatings and treatments to surfaces to prevent wear and environmental damage.
• Maintain detailing equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Skills:

The required skills enable the Boat Detailer to perform detailed cleaning and polishing tasks efficiently, ensuring each boat meets quality standards. Salary : $40,000 - $60,000
