Position Overview
As a Dental Assistant at Dougherty Dental Group, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care while ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor chairside during restorative, surgical, endodontic, and cosmetic procedures
- Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos
- Support patient education and help reinforce treatment recommendations
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow sterilization and infection control protocols
Technology & Skills
- Experience with digital scanning (intraoral scanners) preferred
- Experience with 3D printing preferred
- Willingness to learn and grow with emerging dental technologies is essential
- Familiarity with practice management software is a plus
