What You’ll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, identifying needs, and assisting with product selection.
• Mix, tint, and match paint colors to customer specifications using computer color-matching systems and manual adjustments.
• Process customer orders accurately, including entering orders into the system and completing sales transactions.
• Assist customers with product knowledge, recommendations, and project estimates (take-offs and quotes).
• Maintain paint department inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring levels, and notifying management of shortages or discrepancies.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe while following company procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager to support the success of the team and business.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mixing, matching, and tinting paint colors required.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Must be available to work every other Saturday (half-day) or as needed, based on business needs.
• Basic computer skills (order entry, inventory systems, and POS).
• Knowledge of building materials and paint products preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a retail/warehouse environment with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
• Must follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
