Morning Server

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Morning Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Morning Server, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service that sets the tone for their dining experience. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and hospitality skills will ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from the moment they arrive until they leave. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food and beverage knowledge while creating memorable moments for our patrons during breakfast hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated
• Serve food and beverages promptly
• Process sales transactions efficiently using Micros POS, handling cash and credit card payments with precision
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Support food safety protocols during food handling, preparation, and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver timely service while managing multiple tables during busy morning hours

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, especially fine dining or breakfast/brunch settings
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude and guest relations focus
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking across multiple tables
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain necessary food handling certifications
• Experience with food industry standards including sanitation, food preparation support, and proper drink service techniques
