Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients and adhering to safety and sanitation standards to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

• Follow established recipes accurately to ensure consistency and quality in every dish prepared.
• Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and organizing them for efficient cooking.
• Cook menu items with precision, ensuring proper presentation and flavor.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts to uphold hygiene standards.
• Manage food safety by adhering to proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Follow safety standards in production areas to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a line cook or prep cook is preferred but not required; relevant culinary training is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes precisely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
