Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Hotel Line Cook for an on-site position at DoubleTree by Hilton in Phoenix,AZ. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes, menu specifications, and guest preferences. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring food safety standards are met, and coordinating with kitchen staff to provide timely and high-quality dishes. This role plays a key part in delivering the exceptional culinary experiences that our guests have come to expect.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including sautéing, grilling, and frying
- Ability to follow recipes and standards for portion control and food presentation
- Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation practices, and food handling standards
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient work area
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a related culinary role
- Culinary training or relevant certification is a plus
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
