Responsibilities

• Operate the hotel shuttle in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies.
• Transport guests to and from airports, local attractions, and other designated locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the shuttle vehicle.
• Assist guests with luggage and provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure passenger safety.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly to management.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous driving experience preferred, especially in passenger transport.
• Ability to provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Good knowledge of the South Bend area and surrounding routes.
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to assist guests with luggage and mobility needs.

Job Overview

DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend Downtown is seeking a dependable and guest-focused Shuttle Driver to provide safe and courteous transportation for hotel guests and airline crews. This position plays an important role in creating a positive first and last impression of our hotel through exceptional service and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests and airline crews safely to and from designated locations.

• Assist guests with luggage and provide excellent customer service.

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the shuttle vehicle.

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.

• Maintain transportation logs and required documentation.

• Provide information about the hotel and local area attractions when appropriate.

• Assist with guest service needs and hotel operations as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous hospitality or transportation experience preferred but not required.
