Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning and sanitation teams in delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces.
- Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to sanitation protocols.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, industrial cleaning techniques, and customer service expectations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, janitorial equipment, laundry services, and sanitation products to optimize resources.
- Enforce safety regulations related to cleaning practices, equipment operation, and hazard prevention.
- Collaborate with management to implement improvements in housekeeping processes and maintain high standards of hospitality service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning, sanitation procedures, and laundry operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate managerial expectations clearly.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
- Ability to train staff on janitorial practices, safety regulations, and customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with management tools for scheduling, inventory control, and reporting.
- Prior experience in team supervision within a hospitality or institutional setting is highly preferred.
