Duties
- Maintain a spotless and inviting lobby area by performing routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors using appropriate floor care equipment.
- Ensure all public spaces are well-organized, tidy, and free of clutter to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, elevator buttons, seating areas, and reception counters to uphold health standards.
- Assist with janitorial duties such as waste removal, replenishing supplies like tissues and hand sanitizers, and maintaining restrooms in impeccable condition.
- Support hotel staff by providing prompt assistance with guest inquiries related to lobby services or directions around the property.
- Conduct periodic inspections of the lobby area to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
