Duties

• Maintain a spotless and inviting lobby area by performing routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors using appropriate floor care equipment.
• Ensure all public spaces are well-organized, tidy, and free of clutter to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, elevator buttons, seating areas, and reception counters to uphold health standards.
• Assist with janitorial duties such as waste removal, replenishing supplies like tissues and hand sanitizers, and maintaining restrooms in impeccable condition.
• Support hotel staff by providing prompt assistance with guest inquiries related to lobby services or directions around the property.
• Conduct periodic inspections of the lobby area to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff alike.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Prior hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for delivering excellent guest service is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that fosters positive interactions with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in industrial or custodial environments is a plus.
