About the Role

Ascent Hospitality is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven General Manager to lead the DoubleTree by Hilton Montgomery team.

As General Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the hotel's day-to-day operations, develop a high-performing team, drive financial results, and create an exceptional guest experience.

What You Will Do

• Lead and oversee the hotel's daily operations, financial performance, and overall guest experience.

• Set clear expectations and provide leadership, coaching, and development to department heads and hotel team members.

• Drive revenue, profitability, occupancy, ADR, and overall hotel performance.

• Develop and execute strategies to increase business, strengthen market presence, and achieve financial goals.

• Build strong relationships with guests, clients, community partners, vendors, and key accounts.

• Partner with Sales and Operations teams to maximize group, corporate, and local market opportunities.

• Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure a consistent commitment to exceptional service.

• Review financial reports, budgets, forecasts, labor costs, and operating results to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, company policies, safety requirements, and operational procedures.

• Recruit, retain, recognize, and develop talented team members while creating a positive and engaging hotel culture.

• Lead hotel meetings, performance reviews, operational initiatives, and strategic planning.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service, profitability, and team engagement.

• Represent the hotel and Ascent Hospitality professionally within the Montgomery business and community network.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or senior hotel operations leader.

• Strong background in full-service hotel operations preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve financial and operational goals.

• Strong understanding of hotel sales, operations, guest service, budgeting, and revenue performance.

• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Passion for developing people and creating a strong hotel culture.

• Highly organized, accountable, hands-on, and results-oriented.

• Ability to build strong relationships with ownership, corporate leadership, team members, guests, and community partners.

• Hilton brand experience is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
