Responsibilities
- Implement speech and language treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Conduct individual or small-group therapy sessions
- Collect and record accurate data on client performance
- Prepare therapy materials, activities, and equipment
- Assist with speech and language screenings
- Maintain clean, organized therapy spaces and supplies
- Communicate observations and progress to the supervising SLP
- Follow ethical, professional, and confidentiality guidelines
- Assist with scheduling, documentation, and caseload organization as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience working with children across various age groups and developmental stages.
- Prior experience in clinic settings is highly desirable, demonstrating adaptability.
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
- Knowledge of pediatrics and adult communication disorders.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology practice.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to assess complex cases accurately and develop targeted intervention plans that promote measurable progress. Pay: $36.00 - $44.92 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
