About the Company
We are assisting our client, the United States subsidiary of a global manufacturing group, in recruiting a Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations in the US. The company designs and supplies reusable plastic pallets and bins for industrial use, serving manufacturers and growers across various sectors, including agriculture, food processing, and industrial packaging.
About the Role
In this role, you will oversee the full spectrum of finance operations for the United States entity, working closely with the local General Manager and reporting with a dotted line to the global CFO in Israel.
You will serve as a key member of the leadership team, combining day-to-day execution with strategic financial oversight. This role is highly hands-on and best suited for someone who thrives in a smaller, entrepreneurial setting where ownership, initiative, and cross-functional collaboration are essential. You will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring alignment between US GAAP and global financial standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead all financial operations for the US entity, including accounting, reporting, and compliance.
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in alignment with both US GAAP and parent company standards.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities to support strategic growth.
Oversee internal controls, financial systems, and procedures; ensure process consistency and integrity.
Partner with the General Manager and executive leadership to inform and support business decisions.
Coordinate intercompany transactions and cross-border reporting with the Israeli headquarters.
Supervise local finance staff and support their professional development.
Liaise with external auditors, legal consultants, and tax advisors as required.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll and vendor payments in coordination with internal and external platforms.
Contribute to leadership team discussions and initiatives, shaping overall business strategy.
Requirements:
MUST: 5 years of financial leadership experience in a small or mid-sized company
MUST: Experience with US GAAP reporting and compliance
MUST: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
MUST: Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred)
Experience in intercompany and cross-border reporting environments
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
Hands-on approach and willingness to manage day-to-day operations as well as strategic initiatives
Prior experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or industrial products company is required
Experience collaborating with global teams or dual-structure organizations is a plus
