Under the supervision of the Store Manager or a Concept Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for the training and supervision of Bartenders assigned to their store. The Assistant Manager ensures that customer service standards are maintained and company policies are adhered to. The Assistant Manager is required to:
- Provide staff training in the proper use of cash registers, slot jackpot payout systems, and other equipment in use at the store;
- Ensure food handling and preparation standards are maintained;
- Ensure payroll reports are prepared in a timely manner using attendance records and timecard reports;
- Ensure cash handling and recording procedures are adhered to;
- Utilize the Eatec Software system to manage inventory levels, spoilage and reporting requirements.
Job Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Experience in a customer service position accepting cash payments, making change and safeguarding funds;
- Be at least 21 years of age to comply with regulatory requirements, and able to obtain any required regulatory licenses or certifications including Safe Serve, Gaming Registration and Key Employee Licenses for any jurisdiction which requires it;
- The ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and lift up to 25 pounds when necessary;
- The ability to supervise employees which includes implementing corrective action according to company guidelines;
- Capable of multi-tasking, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Effective interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with customers and employees in a professional manner;
- Have a valid Nevada Driver's License, reliable transportation, vehicle insurance, and an acceptable driving record;
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays when required;
- Proficiency in the use of PC computer software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
Required Job Task Details:
- Count and reconcile food and beverage deposit funds and prepare bank deposit slips when required;
- Assist in the resolution of inventory related issues to ensure system depletion functions correctly;
- Generate daily food, beverage and supply orders using established guidelines and procedures;
- Verify compliance with company cleanliness standards and identify concerns with equipment, fixtures, and furniture;
- Approve jackpot payout funds for verified jackpots and complete the required W4 and Title 31 documentation;
- Address customer concerns and resolve patron disputes in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements;
- Address issues identified by regulatory agencies where possible and report issues to Dispatch and through the chain of command;
- Perform the reconciliation of Food and Beverage cash receipts and prepare the Food and Beverage cash deposit.
