We are looking for a QA Engineer to own the end-to-end test strategy for a major UI modernization of an enterprise healthcare identity and access management portal. You will own the test strategy for a major frontend upgrade of an enterprise healthcare portal. You will be responsible to audit the existing test suite, produce a migration plan, move unit tests to a new runner, and write Cypress specs for every surface as it ships. You are the team''s quality gate — no sprint closes without your sign-off. Experience testing CIAM and authentication flows is essential.
Required skills
- Strong Cypress E2E experience: authoring, maintaining, and refactoring spec suites for React applications
- Unit testing with Jest or Vitest and React Testing Library; proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript for test code
- Automated accessibility testing with axe-core and manual WCAG 2.1 AA validation; Lighthouse CI or Web Vitals monitoring
- Cross-browser testing via BrowserStack or equivalent; structured defect management with clear reproduction steps and severity classification
- Experience testing OAuth2 / OIDC authentication flows — token lifecycle, session handling, MFA, and logout scenarios
- Familiarity with ForgeRock or a comparable identity platform: testing login journeys, password reset, and identity verification flows
- Comfortable validating deployments across Kubernetes / AWS EKS environments (dev, sandbox, UAT)
