Shop Helper

We are searching for a Shop Helper to join our team at Northern Motors!  This is a key support role that assists with day-to-day operations and keeps business running smoothly.  The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, and is driven by helping people and learning new things.

What You’ll Do:

• Run parts and assist with inventory.
• Provide hands on support to mechanics as needed.
• Assist in keeping work areas clean and maintain basic shop upkeep.

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset is encouraged.
• Driving Requirements
  • Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license.  CDL preferred but not required.
  • Must have positive points on state driving record.
  • Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
  • All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
• Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Salary : $17 - $20
