What You Will Do
- Make initial contact with customers, coordinate installation schedule, physically attend pre and post construction jobsite meetings, and ensure customer training is completed when project is finished
- Ensure smooth transition of project from the sales team to the fulfillment team
- Manage multiple projects of varying size while coordinating work through appropriate vendors, sub-contractors, and branch staff; order materials needed for projects
- Prepare project budgets, schedule and approve expenditures, analyze variances, initiate corrective actions
- Maintain documents electronically including closeout documentation
- Work alongside a union-based group
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year work experience in the automatic door or construction industry
- 2 years of hands-on experience in construction, automatic door installation, glazing, storefront systems work, and team supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, Construction Management, or Business Administration
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- AAADM (American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers) certification
