Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Position Summary:
This position performs engineering duties focused on improving manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and workflow processes. The Industrial Engineer analyzes production systems, manufacturing processes, and tooling applications to develop improvements that enhance operational performance, product quality, and cost control. This role requires knowledge of cutting tools used in milling and lathe machining, and may also support technical sales, product promotion, and customer technical support.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Will Include:
- Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost improvement
- Apply knowledge of cutting tools used in milling and lathe machining to improve production performance and tooling applications
- Support technical sales and product promotion by providing engineering expertise on cutting tool applications
- Provide technical support to customers, distributors, and internal teams regarding tooling performance and machining processes
- Assist with quality control inspections of parts and evaluate product performance against specifications
- Develop and implement process improvements to optimize production output and reduce waste
- Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and workflow diagrams
- Monitor production performance metrics and recommend improvements based on data analysis
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment utilization and plant layout
- Assist in planning manufacturing capacity, labor utilization, and production scheduling
- Support quality assurance initiatives and assist with root cause analysis of production issues
- Work with shop floor managers, supervisors, and operators to improve operational efficiency and productivity
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, cutting tool technology, and machining best practices
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or industrial engineering
- Knowledge of cutting tools used for milling and lathe machining operations
- Must read, write, and speak English fluently
Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of machining processes and cutting tool applications, process optimization, quality control, technical troubleshooting, communication, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and sales teams.
Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, bending, sitting, reaching outward and above shoulders, climbing stairs, squatting, kneeling, and bending. Must have good hearing, vision, and sense of touch. Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as steel toe boots and safety glasses when required.
