Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Early mornings, Monday–Friday
• Pay: $35-$40
• Location: Must be able to report to our Portland studio and travel to school sites across the Portland metropolitan area 80% and the Salem metropolitan area 20%.

We are seeking a personable, organized, and proactive client specialist to support our Portland office. This role serves as the primary contact for assigned schools, building strong relationships while ensuring exceptional service, clear communication, and successful picture day and yearbook experiences.

The ideal candidate enjoys managing relationships, coordinating multiple priorities, solving problems, and keeping projects on track. Working closely with school staff and internal teams, this role helps ensure operations run smoothly, especially during our busy seasonal periods.

Job Duties:

• Build strong relationships with administrators, office staff, and school personnel to ensure an exceptional customer experience across all accounts.
• Assist in managing a portfolio of approximately 100–150 school accounts.
• Support successful picture days through proactive communication, school visits, relationship building, problem-solving, and outstanding customer service while identifying opportunities to improve operations and the overall customer experience.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and enjoyable office culture that reflects Dorian Studio's values.
• Coordinate and complete operational projects and assignments as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Maintain CRM accuracy by entering, updating, and managing customer and operational data in a timely manner.
• Support new business development while strengthening relationships with existing schools to promote long-term retention and growth.
• Assist with branch operations, workflow coordination, and employee training and development.
• Represent Dorian Studio with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset in every interaction.
• Occasional photography assistance on school picture days - training provided.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Friendly, outgoing, and relationship-focused with a collaborative, team-first mindset
• 2 years of account management, sales, customer success, or related experience
• Leadership, team lead, or project coordination experience preferred
• Experience managing multiple customer accounts; 50 accounts preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Customer service experience
• Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to meet company driving requirements, including Oregon licensing requirements, with no major driving violations and fewer than three moving violations within the past three years
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and maintain an acceptable driving record
• Punctual, dependable, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirement

• Applicants will be expected to be active and moving throughout the day
• Able to lift and operate equipment (up to 40 lbs)
• Able to stand and walk around for long periods of your shift
• Sensory & Cognitive: depth perception, hearing, speaking, and the ability to focus on repetitive tasks required
• Able to work in loud, fast-paced environments
• Occasionally work in outdoor environments and weather conditions for outdoor photography, unloading equipment, and transporting to photography shoot locations.
