Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering excellent customer service to coaches, parents, and students.
- Transporting and setting up computer and camera equipment on-site at both outdoor and indoor sports events.
- Taking high-quality individual and team portraits.
- Maintaining professionalism and representing Dorian with pride
- Collaborating with the larger Dorian team through training, communication, and support—even while working solo on-site
- Completing end-of-day paperwork with careful attention to detail.
- Communicating effectively and promptly with all team members.
- Ensuring a fun atmosphere and creating smiles.
- Any duties deemed necessary by management
Qualifications
Specific qualifications for the sports photographer position include:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in photography.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Friendly, outgoing, and people-oriented with a team mindset
- Attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Reliable, insured personal transportation, a valid driver's license, and must meet company driving record requirements
- Consistent access to a cell phone and the internet
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check in accordance with company policy
- Punctual, responsible, and self-motivated
Physical Requirement
- Must be able to stand and be active and moving continuously for extended periods
- Frequently walk between gyms, auditoriums, and outdoor locations.
- Ability to lift, carry, and set up photography equipment weighing 25-50 pounds, including cameras, lighting, backgrounds, and stands
- Sensory & Cognitive: depth perception, hearing, speaking, and the ability to focus on repetitive tasks are required
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and climbing ladders to position equipment and subjects
- Able to work in a loud, fast-paced environment
- Work through weather conditions for outdoor photography
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers for camera operations, computer input, and equipment adjustment
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
