Dorey & Bateman is a small firm offering tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and business advisory services to individuals, families, and closely held businesses. We're growing, and we're looking for a CPA who wants to grow with us.
This is not a seasonal staff seat. We want a CPA with an entrepreneurial mindset to help serve our current book of business, bring in new tax clients, and step into a leadership role at the firm. You'll have ownership potential, direct access to the partners, and a voice in how we build the practice.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review individual (1040), S corporation (1120-S), and partnership (1065) returns, plus trust, estate, and multi-state returns as needed
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for existing clients, with proactive year-round planning, not just filing
- Advise business owners on entity structure, S corp reasonableness and basis, partnership allocations, and tax-saving strategies
- Support accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll clients with clean books, accurate financials, and sound reporting
- Develop new tax and advisory clients through referrals, relationships, and community presence
- Help refine our workflows, review processes, and technology
Pay: $91,100.00 - $140,000.00 per year
