You must be willing and able to work at our Beverly Hills office.

As a receptionist/legal secretary at Dordick Law, you'll be working with an exceptionally talented team of dedicated legal practitioners. Your duties will include offering administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants; answering and redirecting phone calls; ordering office meals and supplies; welcoming guests; receiving, scanning, and distributing mail; and maintaining the overall appearance of the office. This is a customer service role- you should be able to navigate routine tasks in a timely, pleasant, and effective manner while streamlining office operations. Multitasking skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, your job is to ensure that whether in person or by phone we are welcoming guests warmly and executing all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure public areas are tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Draft and send client communications (letters, emails, etc).
- Provide legal administrative support.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Order office supplies, snacks and meals, and keep an inventory of stock
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
- Opportunity to take on additional legal secretarial tasks if you have/develop the necessary skills
- Proven work experience as a legal secretary or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- College degree is preferred but not required
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish.
$25 - $35 per hour
