Key Responsibilities
As a Spanish-speaking Urology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant, you will:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage urology patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Provide direct patient care as a bilingual Nurse Practitioner (NP), ensuring clear and culturally competent communication in both English and Spanish
- Assist urologists in procedures and surgeries, contributing to improved patient outcomes
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Prescribe medications and deliver patient education within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice
- Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and support staff within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Stay current with urology best practices and clinical advancements as a Urology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or PA
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant program
- Active, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- 2 years of urology experience preferred; strong and motivated Nurse Practitioners will be considered
- Fluency in Spanish (required)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
