Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system performance. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Communicate with customers to explain the nature of the problem and provide recommendations for repair or replacement
- Install new HVAC equipment as needed
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to stay current with best practices in HVAC repair
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in HVAC repair
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including both diagnostics and repairs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as needed
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 (weekends/on call as needed)
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
