We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Automatic/Manual Door Service Technician/Installer to join our energetic team! Responsibilities
- Install new Automatic/Manual door systems, including hardware, sensors, motors, and control panels, following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of automatic doors.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults accurately.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning components swiftly to minimize downtime for clients.
- Test system functionality thoroughly after installation or repairs to confirm proper operation.
- Provide clear communication with clients regarding system features, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inventory logs for all installations and repairs.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and industry regulations during all field activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in installing or servicing automatic/Manual doors or similar automated systems is preferred.
- Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems related to door mechanisms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing time efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally as needed.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with sensors, motors, control panels, or automation technology.
- Experience working with manual doors and hardware
