What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Assistant - Rehab Services/Sister Bay Clinic - Full-time position at Door County Medical Center?
The Physical Therapist Assistant works under immediate supervision, assisting the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment programs according to the plan of care. The PTA trains patients in exercise activities, conducts treatments, documents and reports patient responses to supervisor.
Education Required: Associate degree in an accredited Program for Physical Therapy Assistants; Wisconsin State License.
Credential/Licensure Required:
- Licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Graduate of a physical therapist assistant educational program accredited by an agency that is approved by the State of Wisconsin Physical Therapy Examining Board.
- To Apply: Must be eligible for licensure in the State of Wisconsin.
- BLS Certified (training provided); Wisconsin Driver’s License
Shift: Working 40 hours a week at the Sister Bay Clinic.
