What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advance Practice Provider - Clinic Services/Family Medicine Sister Bay - Full-Time position at Door County Medical Center?
The Advanced Practice Practitioner performs clinical, technical and patient-related functions, this individual must have excellent technical, interpersonal and customer service skills, be aware and responsive to the psychosocial needs of patients and their families.
You would be a part of a 5-member primary care clinic comprised of Family Medicine.
Education Required: Graduate of an accredited advanced nurse practitioner program. Master’s Degree required.
Experience Required: Minimum of one-year primary care experience along with laceration experience, and geriatrics preferred. Must have Women's Health experience.
Credential/Licensure Required: Current licensure in the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse. Current certification from a national certifying body approved by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing for Nurse Practitioners required, or graduate of an AAPA accredited program. Current certification as an advanced prescriber. Valid Wisconsin’s Driver’s license. Current CPR certification. PALS and ACLS certification strongly encouraged.
Shift- Working 32 - 40 hours a week (flexible) in at the Sister Bay Clinic location.
