What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit - Casual Call position at Door County Medical Center?
The Licensed Practical Nurse performs specific, supportive nursing services, patient care, and assists nursing personnel under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Must be self-efficient in dealing with decision-making. Must be able to respond appropriately to negative feedback.
Education Required: Current State of Wisconsin Licensure as a Practical Nurse
Credential/Licensure Required: Is currently licensed or able to become licensed to practice as an LPN in Wisconsin; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Shift: Flexible shifts and hours with rotating weekends and holidays. Shifts are: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Casual Call positions are offered an additional 10% differential on top of the base hourly rate. There is a PM shift differential of 10% and a Night differential of 17%.
