What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse/Casual Call - Skilled Nursing Facility position at Door County Medical Center?
The LPN is responsible for ensuring a positive Skilled Nursing Facility experience for residents, their family members and visitors of the Skilled Nursing Facility. The LPN performs nursing procedures and treatments per the care plan and under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Observes and documents resident conditions and communicates in a positive fashion with family, physicians and the entire care team. Must be confident in dealing with decision making, be able to manage time, pressure and deadlines in a positive fashion, and be able to respond appropriately.
Education: Licensed Practical Nurse through the state of WI.
Certifications: BLS Certification required (can train on the job).
Shift: Working Casual Call, meaning you work as needed. Multiple shifts are available.
Shift differentials offered as a percentage of base rate: 10% for PM shift and 17% for night shift.
