What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toxic Tort Associate Attorney position at Donovan Hatem?
MG M The Law Firm (MG M) is seeking to add an Associate Attorney to our Toxic Tort Practice Group in our Dallas, TX office. This position would support our California-based legal teams and requires the ability to work Pacific Time Zone business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm).

The firm's expertise is diverse but focused in the areas of toxic tort, complex product liability, local government, general liability, and commercial litigation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload.
- Conduct depositions.
- Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
- Review and analyze discovery requests.
- Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
- Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing.
- Trial preparation and support. Maintain accurate time records.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in handling toxic tort, asbestos, or silica cases.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to practice in the state of California and be physically located in the state of Texas.
- Experience handling California cases is a plus, though not required.
- Experience with motion practice and depositions.
- Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
- Capable of independent work.
- Work in an organized and efficient manner.
- Superior research and writing skills.
- Ability to multi-task. Ability to analyze complex matters.
