About the Company
Our client is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to join their hybrid team. The ideal candidate is highly technical, has at least 6 years of experience with the Salesforce platform, and has the ability (and desire) to be both hands-on and act as a team and project leader. You must demonstrate extensive experience on the Salesforce platform, have a deep understanding of its capabilities / use cases, and be able to work directly with clients to be eligible for this role.
About the Role
In this position, you'll advise project teams and clients on the technical direction of their customization and development of Salesforce and its integration with other systems. You'll design complex low-code and code-based solutions for Salesforce Administrators or Developers to build.
Responsibilities
- Own Salesforce implementation designs and provide architectural oversight and assistance for all related teams.
- Understand and identify client business requirements to accurately communicate and write requirements, user stories, and use cases for the development team.
- Participate in discovery sessions and use other discovery methods to define clear business objectives.
- Work with consultants and Salesforce admins to clarify and adjust solutions throughout the delivery process.
- Use thorough understanding of Salesforce platform limits, security models, and best practices to provide model scalable architecture to meet client needs.
- Provide technical advice/direction for complex Salesforce customization and development and its integration with other systems.
- Create and execute testing criteria, training plans, and support procedures.
- Communicate effectively and easily with technical and non-technical people to ensure full understanding and liaison between technical teams and clients.
- Build and document proofs of concept for new features or products, and be able to share that knowledge across teams.
- Interview and hire team members as needed, as well as provide mentoring and coaching to current and new team members.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 6 years of Salesforce experience.
- At least 4 years in an architecture role.
- Have 5 years of experience with Apex, Flows, and Process Builder.
- Have 3 years of experience with CICD pipelines (cumulusCI is a plus).
- Have 3 years of experience with 2nd Gen Packages.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute testing, training, and support procedures.
- Proven ability to debug triggers, Apex, and Visual Force pages.
- In-depth understanding of Salesforce process automation.
- Previous experience as a business analyst, or similar skills.
- Experience with Litify is a bonus.
- Experience with SQL is a bonus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
- Must be able to work in a team and independently.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical people.
- Proven ability to recognize and address technical risks.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Ability to mentor, motivate and direct Salesforce professionals.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, computer science, or law preferred.
