Role Description
Doniger / Burroughs PC is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for an on-site, full-time role in New York, NY. (Peck Slip) The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys with legal document preparation, coordinate and manage case files, conduct document review, and perform detailed legal research. Responsibilities also include drafting pleadings and motions, communicating with clients, and ensuring case preparation aligns with deadlines and protocols. The role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced legal environment. Full-time, On-site, Hybrid/Remote, Salary DOE, Benefits, U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
- Experience in Document Review and organization of case files
- Strong skills in Legal Research, with the ability to analyze legal precedents and statutes
- Knowledge of drafting Pleadings and Motions, ensuring effective and timely court submissions
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent experience required; experience in intellectual property or copyright law is an advantage
