Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, including lawn care, hardscaping, and snow plowing. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Assist in the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of job sites by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly.
- Participate in snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred for operating landscaping equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
- Experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to landscaping.
- Must be physically fit, capable of lifting heavy materials, digging, and standing for extended periods.
