Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end job fulfillment, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and at or above target gross margins while meeting the company’s quality and safety standards. This role is operational, hands-on, and accountability-driven, requiring strong leadership in field execution, cost control, vendor management, and team development.
The Project Manager plays a critical role in maintaining profitability, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency across all active projects.
Primary ResponsibilitiesProject Fulfillment & Quality Control
- Oversee daily execution of assigned projects from kickoff through final completion.
- Conduct regular job site check-ins, inspections, and walk-throughs.
- Walk multi-day projects to verify scope accuracy, workmanship, and compliance.
- Create, manage, and close punch lists.
- Ensure all work meets company standards, approved scope, and local code requirements.
- Identify and document deficiencies and ensure timely correction.
Team Leadership, Hiring & Training
- Conduct onboarding and training for service and installation teams.
- Complete and maintain New Hire Training Classes.
- Reinforce best practices for safety, workmanship, and productivity.
- Identify work site safety risks and implement corrective actions immediately.
- Hold crews accountable for performance, conduct, and efficiency.
Cost Control, Margins & Job Costing
- Assist in labor and material quoting prior to job start.
- Source materials and manage vendor relationships to maintain pricing discipline.
- Track labor, materials, and job costs in real time.
- Maintain minimum gross margin targets, with an expected average of 60% or greater.
- Review and approve all sales and installation gross margins prior to job execution.
- Identify margin erosion risks early and implement corrective measures.
Operational Management
- Review installation photos daily for quality and scope compliance.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including photos and notes.
- Track time entries and ensure accuracy for payroll and job costing.
- Coordinate material deliveries and staging.
- Ensure all jobs are properly closed out and approved by production.
Client & Administrative Responsibilities
- Support invoicing and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Assist with final walk-throughs and job close-out approvals.
- Ensure all required data (labor, materials, commissions) is entered prior to job approval.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Performance Expectations
- Maintain an average gross margin of 60% or higher across assigned projects.
- Follow the company’s strategic plan to support sustainable growth.
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately, and profitably.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational and financial risks.
Compensation Structure Base Compensation
- $1,000 -$1500 per week salaried base pay.
Performance Bonus
- 5% of Gross Profit (GP) Bonus paid when the average gross margin exceeds 45%. for the Month on projects managed and closed out.
- Additional 5% of Gross Profit (GP) Quarterly Bonus for jobs completed to Match Or Exceed KPI's of 50% GP margins for the quarter, 0 Safety Violations or Fines. 90% Completion on or Under Budgeted Time.
Bonus Eligibility Requirements
Bonuses are only paid on jobs that meet all of the following conditions:
- Final payment has been collected in full.
- All material costs, labor, and commissions are fully entered into the job record.
- Job falls within the approved gross margin range.
- Job has been reviewed and approved by production.
Jobs installed below par margins do not qualify for bonus compensation.
Probationary Period
The first ninety (90) days of employment shall constitute a probationary period. During this period, the Employer may terminate employment at its sole discretion, with or without cause and without notice.

- Ability to lead, train, and hold teams accountable.

Work Environment

- Some evening or weekend work may be required based on project demands.
Pay: $61,427.11 - $125,000.00 per year
