As the Software Product Acquisition Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all supplier software activities, influencing design decisions, and ensuring timely, high‐quality deliveries.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide engineering management and oversight of supplier software development for the F‐35 EO/IR IPT.
Coordinate supplier software deliveries and report periodic project status to Program Management.
Manage EO/IR Software Problem Anomaly Report (SPAR) metrics and support issue resolution.
Maintain EO/IR entries in the Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD) and flight‐series data modules.
Update and publish the EO/IR Interface Requirements Specification and message format definitions in the Signal Interface Management System (SIMS).
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Software engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong discipline in software development processes and methodologies.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with JIRA, SW Depot, CART and Automet
• Experience with SIMS
• Supplier technical management experience
• Eligible for programs specific clearance.
