Company Description

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and self-motivated Landscape & Property Maintenance Lead to oversee the upkeep of rental properties, business offices, and residential construction sites. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional-looking properties while working independently throughout most of the day.

This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week position with responsibilities that include landscaping, property maintenance, construction site cleanup, and general equipment upkeep.

Role Description

Landscape & Property Maintenance

This position includes maintaining the overall appearance and condition of rental properties, business offices, and landscaping areas. Duties include mowing, edging, and maintaining lawns; weeding and refreshing bark-dust flower beds; blowing off driveways and parking lots; trimming hedges, shrubs, and small trees; applying fertilizer and seasonal treatments; pressure washing sidewalks, parking lots, and building exteriors; cleaning gutters and roofs seasonally; maintaining and troubleshooting irrigation systems; performing light building maintenance and repairs such as fences and gutters; servicing lawn care equipment; and completing additional duties as assigned.

Construction Site Cleanup

The employee will assist with maintaining clean and organized construction and new home sites. Responsibilities include removing construction debris daily, sweeping or blowing out homes as needed, moving leftover building materials between jobsites, preparing garage floors for concrete pours, pressure washing completed sidewalks and driveways, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Final Home Cleanup

This role also involves helping prepare newly completed homes for final sale. Duties include washing windows, cleaning interior surfaces, removing construction debris from tubs and showers, performing paint touch-ups as needed, cleaning roofs, floors, and garages, vacuuming carpets, and completing detailed final cleanup tasks to ensure homes are move-in ready.

New Home Landscaping Installation

The employee may assist with landscaping installation for newly constructed homes, including preparing and leveling yards, installing sprinklers and irrigation systems, laying sod, fertilizing, digging and planting shrubs and plants, spreading bark dust, completing final cleanup, and assisting with fencing installation.

Equipment Maintenance & Organization

Responsibilities also include helping maintain company equipment and keeping storage areas organized and safe. This includes washing trucks, trailers, mowers, edgers, and blowers; performing routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes; ensuring all equipment is operational and safe; organizing storage and work areas; and maintaining clean, orderly, and safe work environments.


Qualifications
  • Candidates should have prior experience in landscaping, property maintenance, construction cleanup, or a related field. Applicants must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and perform physical labor in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of lawn equipment, irrigation systems, and light repairs is preferred. Applicants should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliable transportation. A valid driver’s license is preferred. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug screening, be insurable to drive company vehicles and trucks, and be able to speak and understand English.
Schedule

This is a full-time position working five days per week. Some seasonal and weather-related flexibility may be required depending on workload and project schedules.
