The opportunity
As an Automotive Service Advisor, also called a Service Writer, you’ll own the guest experience throughout vehicle maintenance and repairs. You’ll help guests understand their options, confidently ask for their business, and earn their next visit.
You will:
- Welcome guests, listen carefully, and accurately document vehicle concerns.
- Review service history and technician findings to recommend needed maintenance and repairs.
- Explain estimates, priorities, and value; address objections honestly and obtain guest authorization.
- Coordinate with technicians and the parts team, keeping guests informed about progress, timing, and changes.
- Maintain accurate repair orders, explain completed work and charges, and follow up on outstanding needs.
