Truck and Trailer Mechanic

Don Dens Sales inc is an industry leader in truck upfitting, modification, and repair. We specialize in upfitting of BeauRoc and Neustar dump boxes, custom flatbeds, Hook lift systems, axles, and other chassis components. We manufacture and service a variety of logging, construction, freight, and fleet trailers.

Trailer Mechanic

Duties:

- Perform routine fleet maintenance on Side dumps, live bottoms, dry, vans, logging trailers, and other vocational trailers.

- Upfit trucks with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components for dump and logging applications.

- Repair or replace pumps, valves, controls, and other components on trucks and trailers as needed.
- Conduct inspections and diagnose mechanical issues on trailers
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure trailers are in optimal condition
- Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries

Experience:
- Previous experience as a trailer mechanic or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in conducting inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on trailers
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and coworkers

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
