We’re seeking a Content & Communications Consultant who can bridge technical accuracy and creative storytelling while leveraging emerging technologies and AI tools to enhance efficiency and impact.
We’re looking for a versatile writer, thinker, and creator who can turn complex sustainability and environmental social governance topics into clear, engaging, and credible content. You’ll spend about 60–70% of your time on client work and 30–40% supporting DOMOTO’s marketing, new business, and educational initiatives.
This is a contract or part-time position (~20–30 hours per week) with flexible hours and potential for full-time employment based on performance and business growth. The role is primarily remote with in-person participation with the team and clients necessary from time to time.
You’ll have the opportunity to flex your storytelling skills and writing prowess while leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to:
- Research and synthesize complex technical or data-driven content.
- Draft initial content frameworks, reports, or campaign copy efficiently.
- Enhance consistency, clarity, and engagement in both written and visual content.
- Support content strategy, editing, and workflow management across multiple projects.
- Write and edit content for sustainability, environmental, and social data reports, impact stories, websites, and campaigns, integrating insights from AI and digital tools when appropriate.
- Develop narratives, blog articles, and social content for DOMOTO’s marketing, thought leadership, and client-facing campaigns.
- Support new business efforts, including proposals, pitch decks, and creative briefs.
- Contribute to educational and workshop materials on sustainability and brand communications.
- Translate data, metrics, and technical information into accessible and compelling stories.
- Collaborate with strategists, designers, and subject-matter experts to ensure accuracy, tone, and message alignment.
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate research, content generation, editing, and workflow management while maintaining editorial excellence.
- 5 years of writing, editing, or communications experience.
- Strong background in sustainability, environmental, social governance (ESG), or impact storytelling; experience writing sustainability reports preferred.
- Comfortable using AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance content quality and workflow efficiency.
- Ability to shift between strategic/analytical and creative/narrative tones.
- Excellent editorial accuracy, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with content strategy, digital campaigns, or data visualization a plus.
- Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Experience with press releases.
- Applicant must reside in the Denver metro area.
