Job Title: DP Installation Engineer

Main Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Install Domino supplied printers and accessories at customer sites.
- Significant travel away from home will be required.
- Undertake on-site and remote fault finding and repair of Domino-supplied equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair system problems at Customer sites.
- Carryout service to maximize uptime in line with Customer production schedules and equipment specifications.
- Provide telephone technical support.
- Service electrical, mechanical and software-based production equipment.
- Provide specific training and support for customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Gather data relating to the press performance technical issues.
- Maintain records of and follow Domino service procedures and technical bulletins.
- Provide technical (product) and Health & Safety training to Customers on Domino-supplied products.
- Liaise appropriately with site personnel who may include owners, managers, operators, maintenance staff, and contractors.
- Provide timely response to internal and external Customers.
- Maintain complete and up to date work records and other administration tasks as required by the business
- Work well with Sales and the internal organization.
- Provide constructive feedback both positive and negative on Domino group products and local channel engineered accessories.
- Initiate proactive action on behalf of the Customer.
- Provide closed loop feedback on all escalated Customer actions.
- Provide feedback and take an active role in solution implementation to improve the overall installation and customer training process.
- Provide daily installation updates to the project manager
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Communicate with the Customer, other team members, and vendors specific engineering features/enhancements relevant to improving support and maintenance of the system.
- Performs all administrative work-related tasks in a timely manner.
- Manage Domino parts inventory for accuracy and install base profile.
- Ensure work area is clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Lead on-site activities, keep the site tasks on schedule, manage customer expectations, and understand project priorities and objectives.
- Document customer training class attendees.
- Share installation best practices with other installation engineers, applications specialists, and technicians.

What You Need
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or at least two years of Technical School required
- At least five years of related experience required
- Electromechanical experience or education required
- Hydraulic and machinery experience or education required
- Experience interacting with customers required
- Label printing experience a plus
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Current passport and ability to work internationally
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Able to work with different levels of employees/customers
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel; PowerPoint and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience
- Use basic hand and power tools as well as electrical tools including DVMs, oscilloscopes, logic and network analysers.
- Self-motivated, organized, and operates without the need for direct supervision/guidance.
- Heavy work. Heavy work involves exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are more than those for Medium Work.
