ACCOUNTS PAYABLE / RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST

Position Overview:

AR/AP Specialist providing bookkeeping services for commercial portfolio.  This position will work within the accounting department and receive training and guidance from Controller.

Job Duties:

Deposit tenant checks via check scanner

Record checks received to tenant ledgers within Yardi software

Import and code invoices into Yardi Payscan

Process and manage weekly check run

Assist Property Management and Accounting departments with tenant ledger questions

Assist Controller and CFO with special projects and become trusted resource

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in a Windows environment, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Yardi experience preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Graduate

Preferred college courses in accounting, finance, or related field

Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a property management accounting environment

Other Skills and Abilities:

Client Service mentality

Must be a team player with a strong work ethic

Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
