We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team on Night Shift. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing line changeovers, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining production and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to complete preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
Schedule Details
- Night Shift: 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- 12-hour rotational shift
- One week working 4 days, followed by one week working 3 days
- Schedule designed to support work-life balance
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance
- Experience with multiple mechanical trades
- At least 3 years of electrical experience (multimeters and electrical testing equipment preferred)
- Experience with boilers and pasteurizers is a plus
- Experience repairing pumps, motors, conveyors, and production equipment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Skilled trades apprenticeship (Electrical, Mechanical, Machinist) preferred
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotational schedule
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all line changeovers, including cappers, fillers, conveyors, video jets, sleeve machines, case erectors, case packers, palletizers, bottle unscramblers, and steam tunnels
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Accurately report and track downtime in the company ERP system
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow all GMP, safety, and SOP requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
- Perform facility maintenance as needed
- Assist with special projects assigned by the supervisor
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
