PRIMARY PURPOSE / POSITION SUMMARY:
The Graduate Assistant (GA) for Student Conduct will support the Dean of Students by managing lower-level conduct cases, facilitating informational and administrative meetings, and helping ensure an educational and developmental approach to student accountability. The GA will assist in coordinating outreach and education efforts related to community standards, and contribute to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment.

JOB COMPONENTS / PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet with students involved in low-level conduct cases and complete related documentation
- Facilitate educational and informational meetings (e.g., policy clarifications, outcomes discussions)
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of conduct-related meetings and correspondence
- Plan and execute conflict resolution trainings, utilizing restorative justice practices and mediation techniques to promote accountability, personal growth, and a positive campus environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with FERPA and university policies
- Support outreach initiatives to educate students about community standards and conduct policies
- Provide administrative assistance to the Dean of Students, including file management, scheduling, and report preparation
- Collaborate with other offices and departments on shared student development goals
- Assist in developing and evaluating conduct-related workshops and educational materials
- Perform other duties as requested, delegated, or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Enrolled in a graduate program at Dominican University full time
