This role is designed to groom the right candidate to transition into the Executive Director role within a year.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Executive Director will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the academy, working closely with staff, parents, and the community. This role requires a strong leader who is passionate about early childhood education, committed to developing young learners, and desires to drive innovation in education. The successful candidate will transition into the Executive Director position after one year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Director in managing the overall operations of the daycare, including staff management, curriculum implementation, and student engagement.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
- Work closely with parents and guardians to foster strong relationships and ensure excellent communication.
- Support the development of programs that align with the academy's mission to revolutionize early childhood education.
- Oversee administrative tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and enrollment.
- Lead professional development initiatives for staff.
- Prepare to assume the role of Executive Director within one year by demonstrating leadership and growth in all responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in early childhood education or a daycare setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of motivating teams and driving organizational growth.
