Job Summary
Dolomiti | Pizzeria & Enoteca is seeking a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented Pizza Kitchen Specialist to support daily pizza production and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have strong food-preparation skills, attention to quality and consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to established recipes and procedures.
- Stretch, shape, and assemble pizzas accurately and consistently.
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor cooking times, temperatures, portions, and product quality.
- Prepare and organize ingredients before and during service.
- Follow customer orders and special preparation instructions carefully.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to maintain timely order flow.
- Inspect ingredients for freshness, quality, and proper storage.
- Maintain organized inventory of pizza ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, utensils, and preparation surfaces.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous pizza kitchen, restaurant, culinary, or food-service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of pizza preparation, dough handling, and oven operation is an asset.
- Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and preparation instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent food quality.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move kitchen supplies as required.
- Willingness to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
