Job Summary
Dolomiti | Pizzeria & Enoteca is looking for a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to support the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate should be organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist cooks with basic food preparation and ingredient portioning.
- Wash, peel, cut, and organize ingredients as needed.
- Prepare food items according to kitchen instructions.
- Support cooks and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Keep kitchen workstations clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
- Restock ingredients, food containers, and kitchen supplies.
- Help receive, organize, and store food deliveries.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Remove trash and maintain clean kitchen areas.
- Help maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
- Perform other kitchen support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
