Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed
• Skills
• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that energizes the team and delights guests
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of hospitality principles including guest relations, food industry standards, and sanitation regulations
